The Art of Paper Cutting

Papercutting is the art of using a scalpel or scissors to create intricate paper artworks. The art form is believed to originate from China over 2 thousand years ago.

Paper cutting is known as Jianzhi in China, Wycinanki in Poland, Kirigami in Japan and Scherenschnitte in Germany.

My papercuts take many hours to complete and all feature pages from fiction novels.
